I am Professor in the College of Communication at Yonsei University in seoul, Korea. My current research program has focused on contextual effects of new and old media in urban communities. I have worked on developing multi-level and community-based approaches to media effects on civic and health knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors among diverse urban communities. I have also been interested in ecological research methods such as spatial analysis, multilevel analysis, and network analysis. I have taught classes about communication technologies, urban communication, community dynamics, health and risk communication, communication theories, and research methods.
