Beginners Korean Conversation 

This course is designed to teach Korean language to international students in Korea so as to make their everyday life easier and more convenient. No prior knowledge of Korean is necessary for this course. The primary purpose of this course is to teach communicative competence, that is, the ability to communicate in Korean. So, particular emphasis is placed on listening and speaking. However, students will also have a chance to read and write for improving communicative competence.

Intermediate Korean Conversation  

This course is designed to prepare students to converse with Koreans more easily in everyday life. This course puts an emphasis on the acquiring of conversation skills under given situations. The object of this course is to make students acquire conversation skill with fluency within a given, short time. The goal of this course is to make students familiar with the key sentence patterns in dialog form and apply those sentence patterns appropriately in given situations. This course is student-initiated. Students are encouraged to do self-study according to guidance by the lecturer and demonstrate their conversation skills through 'act-outs' in the classroom.

Advanced Korean Conversation

The purpose of this course is to help international students to command the Korean language in daily lives of Korea. This course helps foreigners to acquire a variety of expressions within a given situation. This course makes foreign students aware of the subtle difference of the same expressions, depending on the situation. This course also focuses on improving students' accuracy since the students may have some knowledge of Korean.
