¿¬¼¼´ë CSE(Computational Science and Engineering)´Â Á¤ºÎ Áö¿ø World Class University Project¿¡ ¼±Á¤µÈ ½Å¼³ ´ëÇпø°úÁ¤ÀÔ´Ï´Ù. °è»ê°úÇÐ Áß½ÉÀÇ ´ÙÇÐÁ¦ ÇÁ·Î±×·¥ÀÎ CSE¿¡¼­´Â °øÇÐ, ÀǷ῵»ó, ÀÚ¿¬°úÇÐ ¹× »ê¾÷ºÐ¾ß¿¡¼­ Á¦±âµÇ´Â ¹®Á¦ÀÇ ¼ö¸®¸ðµ¨¸µ-ÄÄÇ»Åͽùķ¹À̼Ç-½Ã°¢È­°úÁ¤À» ÅëÇÏ¿© ¿¹Ãø-ºÐ¼®, »ç¿ëÀÚ¿¡°Ô È¿À²ÀûÀÎ ÇÁ·Î±×·¥ °³¹ß, »ê¾÷È­¿¡ À̸£±â±îÁö ´Ù´Ü°è ¿¬±¸¸¦ Á¾ÇÕÀûÀ¸·Î ¼öÇàÇÕ´Ï´Ù.

ÀÌ ÇÁ·Î±×·¥Àº °è»ê°úÇп¡ ±â¹ÝÀ» µÎ°í ÀÚ¿¬°úÇÐ, °øÇÐ, ÀǷ῵»óµî ´Ù¾çÇÑ ÀÀ¿ëºÐ¾ß¸¦ ¼±ÅÃÇÒ ¼ö ÀÖ´Â ÇÐÁ¦°£ À¶ÇÕ °úÁ¤À¸·Î¼­ ¼ö¸®¸ðµ¨¸µ, ÄÄÇ»ÅÍ ½Ã¹Ä·¹À̼Ç, ºÐ¼®, ½Ã°¢È­ µîÀ» Æ÷ÇÔÇÏ´Â °úÇаè»êÀ» ÅëÇÕÀûÀ̰í ü°èÀûÀ¸·Î ¼öÇàÇÒ ¼ö ÀÖ´Â °í±ÞÀη ¾ç¼ºÀ» ¸ñÇ¥·Î ÇÕ´Ï´Ù.


The Department of Computational Science and Engineering (CSE) at Yonsei University is the only one of its kind in Korea. It is a new graduate department established in 2009, which focuses on computation oriented multidisciplinary area combining the traditional fields of engineering - electrical, mechanical, biomedical, and material sciences - with the knowledge and techniques of computational and applied mathematics. The department is founded by the World Class University (WCU) project fully funded by the Korean government.

 

The CSE involves the invention, implementation, testing, and application of algorithm and software to solve large-scale scientific and engineering problems. We aim to train the new generation of computational engineers and scientists. Our programs focus on modeling-computer simulation-visualization, based on applied mathematics. CSE provides balanced degree programs, designed to enable each student to find optimum solutions to complex systems occurring in engineering problems, using various areas of applied mathematics.

ÇлýµéÀº ÀÌ·¯ÇÑ ¸ðµ¨¸µ-¼öÄ¡ÇØ¼®-½Ã°¢È­ °úÁ¤À» ÅëÇØ, ¹è¿î ÀÌ·ÐÀÇ ±íÀ̸¦ ´õÇϰí Á» ´õ Çö½Ç°¨ ÀÖ´Â Àü¹®°¡·Î °Åµì³ª°Ô µÈ´Ù. ÀÌ·¯ÇÑ ±³À°°úÁ¤Àº 21¼¼±âÀÇ Ã·´Ü±â¼ú ºÐ¾ß¿¡ °è»ê°úÇÐ Àü¹®°¡µéÀÇ ¿ªÇÒÀ» Áõ´ë½ÃÄÑ ÁØ´Ù.
